Participants engage in a simulated conflict scenario, practicing constructive conflict and learning how to use healthy debate to drive better results. Teams will evaluate their commitment to team goals and identify any gaps. They will create an action plan to enhance commitment and accountability.

By taking part in a role-playing scenario where members are assigned different cultural backgrounds and must collaborate to solve a problem, teams experience firsthand how culture impacts communication and collaboration.

STX Global Training Policy
Step 1: The Business Check
Discuss the request with your manager, evaluating the following criteria:
1. Business purpose
2. Compatibility alongside job commitments
3. Availability of budget (team costs)
If all criteria are met, your manager will initiate the next step.
Step 2: The Need Check
Looping in your HR Business Partner, your manager must determine if the training is:
(a) Need to have - essential for effective role performance.
(b) Nice to have - beneficial but is not essential for the role.
Once established, you can submit your external training request here.
Step 3: The Quality Check
We will review your request, checking the eligibility criteria, training quality and providing recommendations if needed. If the training is 'Nice to have' and exceeds €1,500, a training agreement must be created in accordance with local jurisdiction.
We will let you know if it is suitable for you to proceed with the enrollment and HR will be looped in if a training agreement is necessary.
STX Manager's Guide

Every employee has a dedicated central L&D allowance per fiscal year to participate in STX Academy trainings.

This covers the participation costs of approximately 2-3 trainings per employee in the fiscal year.

This allowance cannot be otherwise used for additional training outside of the organized STX Academy offer.

Your role is to guide & encourage your direct reports' participation in line with their development needs.

Role-specific, external & team development training is incurred on your team costs & must be budgeted for.

All external training must be requested by the employee—after receiving your approval—via this platform and in accordance with the Global Training Policy.

- Optional (Nice to have) < €1500: no
- A minimum of 3 years STX employment is required for university degree sponsorship.
- A minimum of 5 years STX employment is required for MBA sponsorship.

Tenure: You must have at least 3 months tenure before participating in additional training.

Budget Availability: Each employee has a dedicated STX Academy budget. The costs for role-specific, external, or team training are incurred on your team’s budget. Your manager will oversee your collective training budget to ensure maximum impact.

Priority Level: Training requests are categorized as either essential or optional for your role to help manage demand effectively.
